Smile, it’s one of the great benefits of life and essential to our ability to communicate. Smiling while communicating can be magical and act as a healer to a despondent spirit. A great smile tell a lot about us and gives hints on such things as our intelligence, success, productivity, whether or not we’re trusting, outgoing, likeable, an achiever, etc. And, if our smile says all that wouldn’t you want to have one that healthy, bright and white with clean straight teeth? A great smile can’t move mountains, but it can tear down a lot of barriers. A nice smile makes it easier for people to approach you and engage in conversation; it acts as positive rein enforcement. On the other hand, if your smile is discolored or stain and has crooked or missing teeth you are apt to be greeted much differently. People do judge others by their appearance and most often there are no second chances.
Some of our traits are beyond our control, but our smile is not one of them something can always be done to enhance it. If nothing else, we could see a cosmetic dentist and have our teeth straighten, clean, whiten, capped, etc. Although it may take some efforts on our part like making and keeping appointments, but the cost will not be prohibitive and in the long run having a great smile could pay off immensely. At the same time, it will give you an abundance of confidence and make you feel proud.
The effects of having an improved healthy smile will also enhance your self-esteem and image; it will boost your confident and release positive emotions. Moreover, it could contribute greatly to both your physical and mental well-being which could improve because you have an appearance and smile that makes you proud; one thing less to hide. You will then be able to focus on building successes in other areas. You would begin to realize your true potential because when you’re not hiding your smile you can accomplish wonders.
