Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I’ve been wondering how I will declare my love this year.  Will it be with chocolate, roses, jewelry, a romantic dinner or a weekend get-a-way?  These are all nice things to ponder for Valentine’s Day, but this year I want to do something a little different, besides those are the things that everyone else does.  My creative juices are at work and my plan is to make this Valentine’s Day a bit more special, something wonderful, bold and beautiful.  Molly really deserves it; she’s been working hard this past year and at the same time taking care of the house and kids. This Valentine’s Day has to be best – it’s been seven years.  I guess you are wondering what the big deal is – what is it that I am hyperventilating about?  Well if you must know, my wife Molly just turned 30 and she’s never been to the Arden’s salon for a sauna or any of the other pampering that’s done there.  So this year, I am thinking of getting her a three day vacation pass -with it she will be able to get all the pampering and other niceties that her girlfriends are always talking, hi-fi-in and giggling about. I imagine that they will be quite jealous when they find out what she was up to during her three day disappearance just before Valentine’s Day. My biggest challenge will be finding someone to look after the kids during the three day trip; it may even be me, but this Valentine’s Day will be worth it.
